Agreed!!

I am feeling great tonight! I worked late, did an hour with Jillian Michaels, and got emails out to our photographer and WC finalizing our rehearsal & rehearsal dinner.

AHHHHH! I can't believe I didn't see this thread! My wedding is January 8th at Barcelo in Riviera Maya! Only 50 days away! OMGGGGGGGGGGGGG! Congrats to all you lovely January brides...we're the best :) Here is what we've done and have yet to do...who's on the same page?

Done!

dress bought and is now under alterations :)

shoes, jewelry

groom's attire

wedding invitations sent...we're now in the process of receiving RSVPs! 22 booked so far, YAH!

OOT bags purchased...but have yet to put them together, yikes!

menu cards, place cards, maracas and their tags all completed :)

cake topper bought!

photographer and DJ booked and paid!

rehearsal dinner booked and menus made

Still left to do...

purchase all the contents for OOT bags and put them together

pack (obviously, and i hope i'm not the only one!)

lose 10 more lbs (haha!)

decide on a music play list (the only thing we know is our song, lol)

write our vows (yikes)

shop for some travel clothes (new bathing suit, etc)

I'm sure I'm missing things and will realize this the day before we leave!

Good luck ladies...it's sooooooooooo close :)

Oh, and our AHR is February 6th. We're expected about 150 guests (mostly my parents friends that have attended a million weddings). I really didn't want one to begin with but there are several of our friends and family that won't be joining us in Mexico. I haven't done anything for my AHR yet. I'm not really focusing on that right now, lol. I don't plan on wearing my dress again either...are you guys?

I am wearing my wedding dress. I am changing the colors and decor and all of that for our AHR. Everyone that is coming wants to see us in our wedding attire. And we want them to feel included in our special day.. a month later! But I want to wear my dress again. Get some use out of it. ANd feel beautiful for another day! Im excited!

When you get home bring your dress to the cleaners. Or I have heard girls have cleaned their own dresses in the shower with "zero" cleaner and it works wonders!
What exactly is HCG? Is that a prescription? I would love to lose another 10 to 15 lbs before the wedding, but it's just not coming off!!! I've lost 20 since March, but that's been it for about a month now sad.gif

ok. I did another thread on it. Here is the link:

It is not prescription.. if you do the drops! You have plenty of time to do it before your wedding! Im on a 60 day cycle but you could do 30 days. I lost 9 pounds in 12 days.

My last bottle I bought off of amazon. And it came from a homeopathic doctor who prescribes it to a lot of people.

You want: Mediral HCG drops

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
