We arrive on the 1st so I may bump into you!! I'm so excited now it can't come soon enough!

 

I know what you mean about costs, we thought going abroad to get married was meant to be the cheaper way to do it!! Still at least we get paradise :-)

Hi girls!

 

First I want to say that I appreciate all the reviews and comments here, they has been really helpful!! I will get married at the Sirenis at June 2013. I has been reading about the locations, flowers, photos, and a lot of stuff. But I'm really worried about the DJ! Does anyone here have something to say about the DJ that the hotel provides with some of the packages?? How is the sound equipment? Should I take with me the music? Does the DJ speak or something like a host ??

Hi ladies! I am new to the site and we are thinking about getting married at the Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya! I was hoping to find out some information in regards to pricing in terms of wedding packages or all inclusive stay for that matter. We will be flying out of Toronto and we have guests flying out from Saskatchewan & Alberta. Our big day will be in January 2014! Thanks!

I used the resort DJ and was totally happy with the guy I got.  I didn't request anything in particular and he played a lot of current songs that got my group up and dancing.  He didn't do any speaking but that may have been due to the fact one of our guests became the unofficial MC for the evening.  The sound equipment was fine for our needs, they provided a microphone for the speeches.

Would anyone have 2014 pricing available..? Because that is really what we are looking for but I would like to get some sort of idea so 2013 would be great also! It sounds as though the Presidential Package comes with all the bells and whistles.. from what I have read. We like the idea of the Palapa and from what I have read it is available to you for 4 hours.. Are these specified hours? Is the Palapa for the reception / dancing only or do the guest eat in there? Or do you eat at one of the restaurants first and then go there..? Is the resort able to accomodate in case the weather is terrible and move the group inside? Thanks for your help!

My understanding is the Palapa is for the eating and the other reception type stuff. . . I am not sure how the weather situation works. I think it would have to be really windy and rainy for them to move you inside. The palapa is around $800 to add on to a package that isn't presidential.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
