Got the script for the vows, my fiancé and I read them yesterday :) very sweet.

I've attached my timeline. I will be getting makeup done by my brother in law who is a MUA on the side however want to avoid the external vendor fee so he will have to do it in the room. We are thinking then makeup before hair at 1045am, and prior to that have breakfast with the girls at 9am.

One worrying thing is that I can't get our "presidential suite" until about 2pm. So that means we would get makeup done in regular room- then head to salon for hair (noon-2) and then have to transport our dresses (hoping someone can do this for us) to the suite to finally get dressed, snap some girl pics and head down to ceremony around 345pm.

Has anyone had to switch rooms mid-day?

Also- my own photographer is worried about the short timeline for photos (430-6 cocktail time) - I feel that's pretty normal hey?

We only had 1.5 hours for all group, family, bridal party and bride/groom shots. We had 45 people. And by the end my husband was sooooo over it and tired of smiling lol.

We didn't get the presidential suite so I have no experience changing rooms mid day. Your WC may arrange to have your items transported for you. Just ensure all you need to get ready is in one spot for her.

Actually I have one other question. Adriana has said the cost of the Apostille is $270USD. Is that just for a seal?? I've seen on other websites say that the fee includes translation to English and an extra certificate: http://www.weddingsbylomastravel.com/requirements/

Does anyone know because I'm feeing confused!

When they confirmed your wedding date did they send you all the files on flower and cake choices etc? Usually you get that stuff to mull over and you can email the wedding dept with basic questions you have. I can get you the email.

But you won't get a WC until about a month out maybe sooner who will finalize all your details and times and send a total price.

Hope that helps!

Ill find the email and post it

That sucks. Maybe they do things differently now or maybe it depends on the person answering the emails. I know that my handouts are outdated (I was married in January). Hopefully @@yycbride2016 or @@JoannaBanana can send them to you!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
