Hi ladies....

 

Any comments/feedback about the hair salon at GS? I am curious as to the quality, and skill of the hair stylists.

 

If anyone has any pictures they can share, that would be much appreciated.

@@AlexC There are several recent brides that had their hair done at the salon. You can look up calgarybride2015 and also Yycbride2016  They both used the salon and both had good things to say.

 

If you do a search up top in the search bar, you should come up with other brides' threads you can read, or just go back through this thread too and do some reading. One of the best things I can recommend on this site is to read. There is so much information on so many things - the brides are very willing to share.

They do fabulous work! They do this each and everyday so are experienced. I had hair barely to my chin and they got it into an up do. Was blown away! Are you on FB? I have posted pics recently on the GS page!

I emailed them 3 times leading up too because I worried too. That's why I picked them (ok not the only reason but one lol). She sent me a screen shot of my booking in their spreadsheet to ease my mind lol

Adriana just confirmed the booking with me cuz I got all paranoid and asked.  I think she's about to pass me off to the co-ordinator as well.

Yes all of my wedding party had their makeup done there. They use MAC and do a great job. They will apply false lashes as well. They have their own stock unless you like a specific brand.

 

I looked to bring someone on site for hair and make up and the cost I was quoted was HIGH. Like over $600. I felt the spa on site did great work. But I am pretty easy going as I don't wear much make up in person. Depends what you are used too I am guessing.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
