Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Brides??

Recommended Posts

I've also heard mixed reviews about the beaach, but I hear some of the areas farther off the main area are very good.  Just gotta look around. That said, it's probably one of the only ones you can snorkel with the reef, and you can see turtles and such. So that is a bonus.

SOOOO!!!!!   I have verbal confirmation that my cancelled flight was changed to Saturday (was Sunday) and my wedding won't be affected.  We still want the written confirmation, but my TA said he was calling her, and working hard to get everyone (all gateways) changed to the Saturday so it seems 99.9% a go! yay!!!!

Hey, before I email Andrea I thought I would ask if any of you know the answer to this...

- what is the cost for wifi for the week?

- what is the cost of the in room safe for the week?

I am not sure if it changes per Airline, but I know I have been told these aren't included.

Which is kinda nuts on a 5* resort

Thanks!!!

I certainly will when I get them.... I may wait a bit, haha, sometimes I feel like I ask to many questions when I email her once a week or once every two weeks :)

I may also ask my friend who just attended a wedding there in March.

Soooo someone mentioned this on another board and I thought I'd throw it out here..

Packages include 10 people. I know when we upgrade to palapa we pay for everyone BUT.... Do we may more for each chair? Do we pay more for the toast/appetizers? Or does it only include the 10?

Their price lists are fairly extensive and they seem to cover everything but this I couldn't find anywhere unless I missed it - ie a price for each chair or person for appetizers so I hope we are ok!! But I'd like a heads up on cost beforehand.

Thanks

Ps - I emailed Andrea too

Ok I found the price per chair, which is $2.49 ... I blew over this section not realizing I had to pay for seats!

The appies/toast is $4.15 per person, so over and above the 10 (awaiting to confirm this is in fact accurate), but I am unsure I will pay more.  I heard noone eats them anyways, and directly after have the open bar/cocktail hour anyways!  Maybe just ensure we have enough to toast with.

Alright!

I read Andrea's email that when we pay for the upgrade and pay for each person to have dinner that includes everything - 'that includes already dinner, toast, appetizer, chairs and everything else'

Safe $375 pesos which is about $31 canadian

Wifi per week $455 pesos which is about $38 canadian

Did anyone send their wedding paperwork in fairly quick then send a finalized one 3 months before (which was when I was told to send it all in). A part of me wants to send my cake dinner etc choices in now but don't want to send me guest list until later. Know a few brides who didn't get the locations they'd requested (here in Calgary not at this resort) and it's making me nervous if I am

Being completely honest. I already confirmed I got the palapa upgrade so just my own nerves. No reason to feel this way.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
