Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Brides??

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I read that brides bouquet is $800 pesos, and the bridesmaids are $500 pesos, but I was wondering if anyone knew how much in addition to those prices they charged for the 'specialty' flowers. I wanted Calla Lilies, and they are in the 'other/specialty' category.

Thanks!

Sorry, I can't help with this one. We asked for a couple of specialty flowers (orchids), and Araceli called the florist for a quote while we were having our first meeting. The quote was so crazy high ($40 US for one larger pink orchid), we skipped anything "specialty".

Wow, that is ridiculous. I'm going to assume that price would be about the same for all specialty flowers. Thanks!

You know what...I would still take your inspiration photo and get them to price it out for you...you never know.  But, take along a couple of other pics of bouquets you would be equally (hopefully!) excited about. The bouquet that showed up the day of the wedding was nothing like what I was expecting (having given them a couple of inspiration photos) but I actually really loved the pop of yellow orchids in it, especially in our photos.

Hi Everyone,

I think I have decided on The Grand Sirenis for my wedding in March 2014 after months of looking at different hotels in Riviera Maya. I have noticed a lot of posts asking what restaurant to have the reception dinner at but I was wondering if anyone had opted for the Private Beach Reception and if so what's included? I got a price list sent to me from th hotel but it doesn't go into much detail about exactly what you get :)

Wow Selina...that's exciting!  Have you narrowed it down at all?  How many are in your group?  What kind of food are you guys into?

Our reception was at the palapa...while we were there we saw a reception happening at the Brazilian and one at the Italian. Both of these are smaller, more intimate restaurants. We preferred the food at the Italian restaurant...and the menu would appease a wider range of tastes than the Brazilian I would think. The Japanese restaurant was YUMM-O, but I don't know that the set-up is conducive to the mingling that would typically happen at a wedding reception...it's all about the show!

I was wondering what restaurant you are all going for?  Araceli has sent my all the forms to finalise the last few bits as only a few months to go.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
