Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Brides??

Recommended Posts

I'm relieved to hear you have seen another reception on the beach. I'm not worried about the privacy, I'm more interested in the atmosphere/ mood of the place. Was it nice? I'm cool to have the reception on the sand under the moonlight. Was it open air; directly on the beach? Was there lights and things set up? I wonder if we can set up the Dj equipment?

Oh, it's really nice!  If I remember correctly they had lights strung up and a DJ.  If it's the area I'm thinking of, it was right on the beach...I'll see if I can find a picture of the general vicinity during the day from when we were there.

Well, apparently we didn't take a pic of the area so I googled it and this was the best I could find.  This is a pic looking out from the snack bar on the beach...I wonder if they will have your bar set up in here?  It's only open during the day for guests, but I'm sure they would use for a food prep area for evening functions.  The area out on the sand where all the chairs are set up was where we saw that evening function taking place...you'll definitely see the stars and hear the waves crashing!

Hello ladies

I was wondering if anyone has the pictures of ceremony sites available?  I have been looking but cant seem to find them. I have heard that there is a beautiful site that is on a little bit of a rock ledge overlooking the water, just wondering if any of u have seen this.

Thanks

Hi all

We r hopping that somebody can help us by giving us a whole review for a grand serenis wedding in the palapa. The wedding venue looks amazing but we are not sure about the hotel service, and quality. We r thinking in a late April wedding 2012. Please girls, you out there that used this hotel, please help!! Fiancé and I are concerned because of the bad reviews that this hotel have. we want our family and friends to have a good experience.

It has been a few years since I was there but when I was the service was great, the food was good - nothing great, nothing horrible.  The beach is beautiful and I loved the ice cream shop.  We are going back in April to get married and have travelled to the Riviera area about 7 or 8 times we choose the Grand Sirenis b/c of the private palapa and the price we were able to get.  I have been reading the reviews on TripAdvisor and they are making me nervous too!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
