Hi Donna

Dont seem to have received your PM or e-mail.  Have just requested you as friend on FB tho so lets hope that works.  Really want to see your pics

Thanks for answering all my questions.  We are all getting really excited now and also very nervous - just hoping we've remembered everything that we need to take with us.  My daughter Danielle who is getting married is also stressing a bit now too.  Thanks for putting my mind at rest re the birth certificate thing.

Did you take your own decoration with you for palapa for example favour bags ect......??  did the co-ordinators set it all up or do we have to help with that??

you've also put my mind at rest re the photographer as have read previous threads that dont recommend them at all.  I have e-mailed them to let them know dates and that we want them to take the photo's - they said they would be happy to discuss our requirements when we arrive.

Cant believe we leave in two weeks

Speak to you soon

Lesley Francis

Hello,

We are seriously considering getting married at GSMB. Just wondering if anyone has gotten married there recently? I really love the palapa for the wedding venue, but I just had a friend come back from  a wedding there and said the rooms were old and smelly and the food was awful. I know its all about personal preference, but it concerns me. If anyone has been there recently and can give me some info, it would be much appreciated!

Thanks

@Donnaalec

Congratulations Donna! And thank you so much for the detailed review! It sounds like everything was very well organized and ran smoothly for you! It's also good to hear reviews about the other WCs. I've only been dealing with Aracely so far so, it's good to know, in case Aracely is not available, that we'll be in good hands with the others! I will be friending you on FB, I can't wait to see your pics! COngrats again!

Hi ladies, just wanted to let you know that I contacted visitmexico.com about brochures to riviera maya and they are sending me travel brochures and maps for all of our guests. They mailed them yesterday, so I don' t know what or how they look like but we are including them either with our pre-travel brochures or upon arrival in OOT bags. Here is their email if anyone interested contact@visitmexico.com

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
