Hello !!  I have never been before. Im really excited but as a Bride its stressful to not know details that I wish I had some answers to.  I want the ceremony out on the private beach near the Ruin and I believe im renting the Palapa for a private reception. I have asked them to send me some pictures so I can have an idea of what to expect but I haven't seen much  

Have you been there before ?

From what I got from the wedding coordinator Araceli, the beach is by the ruin is rather public, there is a different one that is more private.  And actually there are still quite a few brides on here.  A couple just got married there in the last couple months so you might want to read back abit as there is a lot of helpful info in the thread.  Happy planning.

No problem Michelle!   Sometimes I go while between replies myself  just because I personally find that sometimes I get a bit foum addicted and need a few days off, lol. I think some of the others on the forum feel that way too

 

The resort is great! I've been twice already! It's not perfect of course, but no resort is. Like Denita said, the best thing to do is to start at the beginning and read through the whole thread, you'll find lots of good info, and most of it is fairly recent! (the past few months really!)

How did I just stumble across this forum now? I am getting married at the GS in just a few weeks (April 28, 2011) and didn't find this until now! LOL

 

Anyways I was just wondering if anyone has some last minute advise? Is there anything that anybody would have changed or something that just made the day perfect?

My biggest advise would be to bring all of your correspondence from the coordinator and photographer. This helped me a lot and there was no question what was included. You will have a wonderful time; we had a wonderful wedding.

hi everyone, i'm getting married at the grand sirenis in 13 days.... i've read the forum and it's been very helpful, thanks... my big concern is the hair and make up job they are going to do in the spa.... i'm wondering if i need a back-up plan lol....will anyone who has already gotten married down there, and used their services, be willing to send me any pics of your hair and make up? i dont really know how to use this site, so if someone is willing to send them my email is sugar_lilly@hotmail.com  thanks ladies
