For those of you who have pave diamond wedding bands...

Recommended Posts

My e-ring has the diamonds that go half-way around, but then the rest of the way around it has antique etching, so it flows together... I don't have the spinning problem, but I haven't worn the e-ring and wedding ring together yet, so I will let you know!

My wedding band has the 1/2 way diamonds. I dont have the spinning problem and mine arent sautered. We went with 1/2 way diamonds b/c Im fairly hard on my jewellery and no point in paying for diamonds that I would most likely ruin cheesy.gif

Aw man, you guys are making this even harder on me! I see both sides...I don't know what to do. The eternity band is $300 more than the band with stones only half-way around. I wore my wedding band the other night around the house and then I wore it to sleep, and when I woke up, it hadn't spun around or anything. But I don't know if that's just becuase I'm always warm when I sleep so my rings were tighter. Part of me thinks I should "splurge" on the eternity band but the other part of me thinks it's not necessary, especially since my other 2 bands already only go half way around....

Argh, decisions decisions. Maybe I should flip a coin! cheesy.gif

Thanks for your input everyone!

Maybe you could wait til after the wedding! Where your bands you have now for like a year and see what happens, maybe you'll be pleased after you start wearing them all the time. And if you don't like it and eternity band would make a GREAT 1st anniversary gift!!!

i have a pave wedding band and e ring, mine go almost the entire way around except for a really small section at the bottom - which leaves a little room for it to be resized.

i had them soddered together beceause the wedding band was spinning and the small section without diamonds would always be on the top - go figure!

technically mine isn't pave, its channel set, but either way it only goes half way. I find it more comfortable than having the diamonds all the way around (I used to have one that had them all the way around, from an ex) and I found it annoying a bit. Plus I was crazy paranoid that I would damage the underside diamonds so I never opened doors with that hand or lifted weights etc. Also, if its pave and not channel set, it increases the chance that your diamonds will get caught on something and ripped off.

I find that mine sometimes spins around, but I don't really mind it. I can always tell when its upside down because my grip is instantly uncomfortable :S

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
