I spent my whole Saturday sending out our 2nd edition newsletter and luggage tags and hand written thank you notes to all of our 60 guest that are going with us on our wedding cruise, all my FI had to do was take them to the post office on his day off to be mailed! Did he do it? NO I had to do it---- UGGGGGGGGG he makes me mad sometime, but I still love him censored.gifcensored.gifcensored.gif

BOYS!!! Me and my girlfriend that is getting married next weekend laughed for about an hour this morning over how they never grow up. If we didn't laugh, I think she would have gone through the phone and punched him - LOL. We came to the conclusion that they will always think we like to do dishes and hand write thank you notes; we just have to be more clever at finding ways to make them to that kind of stuff and still think it was their idea! Then giggle about it with our girlfriends :)

HAHA!!! I think we can ALL relate to that! I agree with autjo, laughter is a good way to deal with some of their incompetent ways! The thing that drives me crazy about FI is when we're getting ready to walk out the door and he says "Nicole, where is my wallet? Where's my baseball cap? Where are my socks?" LOL!!! I always ask him how the hell he gets ready to go anywhere when I'm not home. The funny part is that he is so predictable I can normally tell him where those things are without having to look - you'd think he'd be able to remember! But honestly I think its just a lazy thing. When he KNOWS that I'll tell him where they are he won't bother looking. When I wait for him outside he has no choice!

I bet your FI KNEW that you'd give in and mail them!! MEN - they're all the same!! LOL!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
