Oh, I didn't realize that was Claudia's husband. I'm using Mike Cantarell for video and Ivan Luckie for photo.

Hey, were the round tables and chairs with chair covers included in your package at the Del Mar?  Was there a minimum number of guests you had to guarantee for El Faro?

I didn't know you could do that?? Do you have to pay another $300 fine for getting another videographer too?? Are his prices expensive?? I'm so clueless about this.....

Hi Shannon -

Your posts have been extremely helpful in my planning process. Thank you so much!!! I have a question for you regarding the actual ceremony. We are getting married at the Maya on October 8th. We have opted for a beach ceremony and a private reception. Regarding the ceremony, I am working on drafting/preparing the text/lay-out for our programs. I have emailed my WC, but it always takes a few days for them to respond, but I was wondering how the actual ceremony is performed? We are getting legally married in Mexico, and are hoping to write our own vows and have a reading or two. I think we're under some time constraints with the judge b/c she has another wedding to "perform" at right after ours. I guess I am wondering what the layout of our programs should look like. Would you be albe to share any information with me based on your recent experience?

Thanks a bunch,

Amy

I always have recommended Mike Cantarell because he is so ethic, professional and can work together as a Team, never have a problem because I know all them and we communicate in an effective way I also recommend Claudia in my list of photographers because they have a very unique style, like all of us, so the brides can choose between many photographers depending on styles and budgets, sun shines for everybody!

Thank!

Ivan!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
