We went with DJ bob. He quoted us 550 for 2 hours or 750 for 3 hours.

We just want to play our ipod! Does anyone know the cheapest way to do this? I've read that Iberostar requires you to get a DJ in order to have a sound system, but we do not need a good DJ (or really, any DJ at all), since we just want to let the playlist do the work.

Hi Ladies

Finally finished our wedding invites and distributed to all our guests. Although we have 10 people confirmed and booked , since invites have gone out 4 more people have expressed an interest in joining us - how exciting.

I know our wedding is going to be a small intimate affair, but just perfect for us.

The only sad bit is my brother and his family cant afford to join us and my partners sister and her family wont be able to join us either. We kind of knew this when we decided to book a destination wedding, but kept hoping they just might be able to come. (i just keep hoping to win the lottery then they wont have to worry.)

Anyway i`m starting to get very excited now with only 3 months to go, just waiting to here from hotel now so that we can start planning the details.

Hey ladies...my bridal shower was yesterday, I am still surprised, shocked, overwhelmed and soooo happy we have the essentials to start off =)

I was so surprised, I cried and was shaking for a good 25-30 minutes. I am soooo thankful to my family for such a great shower and to my bridal party who bought us a 40 inch Flat Screen TV . Woo Hoo!!! I can not believe the generousity of people, it's amazing.

Hope everyone is doing well and planning is good.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
