Recommended Posts

i haaaaad to comment on this because i used to work at cheesecake factory when i was going through photo school. i don't even have to look to know its bad.

BUT OH SO GOOD

i used to looove when people would come in and be like "hmm well i want dessert but im trying to stay healthy so i'll have the carrot cake" to which i would reply. "ummm if you want 2,300 calories from one slice"

seriously people hahaha

ya know what though they got some great stuff like the Luau salad is one of my fave salads anywhere and pretty darn healthy. you can go eat almost anywhere and get something good for you :)

Aww man! I knew it was bad but didn't realize it was that bad! Their portions are generous to say the least, but sooo good. This is on my FI and my list of restaurants for when we come home...maybe if I just skip straight to dessert?!? :)

It's amazing how many calories can be in food....I think most of the problem is the portion sizes! If you ate the right amount of food for a meal the calories wouldn't be so bad but when you have 3, 4 or even more portions on one plate it gets out of control.

Yet we complain when we go to restaurants and get smaller portions.....

When B and I eat out we have started splitting meals. I don't think we've ever left a restaurant hungry after doing that. It's ok to have foods that are high in calories and fat as long as you balance it out.

one thing I noted is that it is listing the saturated fat content and not the total fat content.. so the total fat #'s are likely much higher

I usually get grilled plain salmon with plain broccoli and steamed asparagus. It's not the most exciting but it allows me to get what I really love -- the well mannered dirty martini..lol

OMG! This is terrible! I mean, look at the SODIUM in some of these dishes! That'll definitely kill ya if all the fat and calories manage to find their way out. I think I'm going to be sick...

    • we ended up using Facebook messenger when we were in Mexico - the hotel had free wifi and at least 1 person from each family/couple had FB on their phone already - it was pretty easy to communicate among guests "hey, we're heading to the beach bbq for lunch." or "everyone is hanging at the small pool today".  a plus was that some people tried to get a hold of me via FB on the day of the wedding and I was totally not checking my phone - they were asking if the wedding was outside given the rain forecast, thankful my mom, MOH and a few other friends were on the group and could respond for me :)

    • Hi Everyone, So, I was cleaning out my closet and realized that I never sold off my extra wedding OOT bag stuff from our wonderful DW.   46 Daily Spanish for Dummies 30 Pool colored OOT fabric bags - approximately 13in x 13in. They lay flat.  I used them for our wedding and they were perfect for everything we needed to fit in each bag. There’s a slight shade variation in the group; I’m guessing some were cut from a different bolt of fabric.  They are also a little wrinkled from storage and will probably be wrinkled from shipping. I have three additional ones, but they somehow got something on them (likely toddler related). If needed, I can try to wash it out and send those as well.
    • I’m getting married in six months to my foreign girlfriend. I was advised by a friend that one of the things I need to do before saying I do is to get a prenuptial agreement. Basically it’s supposed to protect my assets and properties in case my relationship with my future wife goes down the drain. I don’t know though if this is an acceptable practice when marrying Kiev ladies. I don’t want to do it if it would be insulting on her end. I need advice on this. Please help me.
