The yellow/black is pretty, but I also don't really see it for a DW...but hey everybody's different so who knows. I just think Martha is wrong lol.

I think I'm doing a seafoam or bluish color with chocolate and tan, but I keep changing my mind so who knows..

Well, those may be the new 'it' colors according to Martha - but I don't know if she is referring to DW's. IMO, I think that it's a super chic color combination and if you are truly in love with it; you can make it work for a DW, I would just make it a more elegant DW. Maybe sunny yellow dresses with white flowers and black accents...

Personally, I am not a bright color gal... we are doing light blue, chocolate brown and touches of gold. I like the more natural palette as it lets the beauty of the setting be showcased without distraction.

Thanks Sunset - I was beginning to think I was the only one that doesn't care for bright colors - I went with more muted tones, french blue dresses, blue hydrandreas centerpieces with touches of silver on table, pink and ivory for bouquets. Just proves you should ignore the trends and do whatever you like, but the trends are always fun to look at for inspiration!

Our bridesmaid dresses are buttercup yellow...

I'm thinking my bouquet will be pink and white flowers and the centerpieces will be pink and yellow (and maybe orange)...

Our AHR colors are black and white.

I think anything goes but I'm a big fan of the fun bright beach colors...

I love the photos of the yellow black and white but like most other girls, for me, it doesn't scream DW. I also don't think I would be able to pull of such a beautiful layout using those colours.

Crazyldy - Purple is my favorite colour. It's going to look fantastic in different shades with lime too.

My colours are royal blue and aqua. I think I'm going to bring some purple in with my makeup and flowers too.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
