Thanks for the suggestions Jess! What size boxes did you buy? Their invites are 5x7. The good thing is I have LOTS of time to work on them this summer before I start the nursing program!

You'll be so happy if you can get them done early. I bought square boxes....7 3/8" x 7 3/8". My invites were 6 inch square and were a trifold with pockets on each side. My starfish was attached to the outside of the trifold with raffia.

You can do it. I actually modified the invites I liked so that they would work with the boxes I found, etc. I worked with what was available to produce the invite. You'll have a great sense of accomplishment and pride in your invites. It's a good feeling to look at the product and know that you made it.

Off topic here ... Glenda! That's exactly the colour of orange I want in my wedding! I am having a hard time finding items in that shade. (Looking for bm dresses now).

Yes, not a deep deep, but vibrant. I guess the bm dresses is first. Since Dreams Cancun is surrounded by turquoise water and the walk up to the gazebo is surrounded by green grass, I wanted to give a pop of colour. I am trying to find dresses with a sleek modern design. I am going to a place on Thursday evening which might have some.

I think I will have to find table runners or I can make something with that colour for the tables. I think I am going to do the drowned flower idea in square vases.

I want mango callas, but that may be too much orange with the bm dresses and my flowers. (Suggestions?!)

My original idea was to have these colours with just a pop of orange:

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
