i'm just unable to grasp this really. when i heard i was in a restaurant, and couldn't manage to eat after that. i just wanted out of there. i mean, of course, i didn't know him personally, but it really does feel like a personal loss. he was the greatest entertainer, possibly ever. i've been watching nonstop Michael since i found out, i just truly hope he's at peace now.

Erin, thats so true about our kids will never know the "real" MJ that we knew of. I always looked at him as MICHAEL JACKSON, even when those accusations came out about him. Maybe I'm naive but I never beleived he did anything to harm them kids. There's no doubt he had issues but I think it was money hungry bastards who took advantage of his unstableness. I have a few of his albums, and I was JUST saying to my friend I wanted to get all new ones b/c they are worn out and scratched. Now they will be so much $$! People are going to be making SOOO much $ off his name now!

Are any of you getting jokes about him already, through text? I have gotten a few.

i agree that those accusations were all about money, i mean in the 1st case, think about it, if someone had molested your child, is there any amount of money you would take to shut up about it? most would say a resounding NO! I'm sure celebrities are encouraged to just settle things like this, so that they can move on with their lives. in the second case, that one was even less believable to me. i just hate that these false accusations are a part of his legacy. i truly believe the fact he was strange looking and stuff made people think he was capable of these things but i have never believed it.

I have and some people have made disturbing comments on FB too!! C'mon people he DIED! So inappropriate, period! I don't care if you didn't like him, or thought of him as a child molestor, whatever its just really ignorant and sad.

AMEN!!!! If someone molested my daughter, I'd want you dead!!!! Not your money! Now the money would be nice, but only after you're dead!

I definitely think he was confused. I think he wanted to be a kid so bad he didn't realize it wasn't normal, he could just make neverland and live as a kid. I really don't think he understand where he crossed over as odd, especially since he didn't view himself as a wacko. I think his wanting to be a kid was disturbing to parents, rightfully so. I mean if an older man wanted my daughter to come over and play and such it would be weird. But also when he would be interviewed about sleeping w/ kids I think it was clear he was not on the same page as "sleeping" w/ kids. he really sincerely meant sleeping and didn't quite register sleeping meaning sex.

I wish people could look past his faults, because his accomplishments are SO much greater.

I definitely didn't grow up listening to him as many of you, I'm a youngin, but I did listen to him. Music was my life for a very very long time, performing and such. Michael has made pop culture what it is today.

If i could only do the moonwalksmile72.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
