OK I'm at the "overwhelmed" stage of picking out a resort.. we've narrowed down to Mexico (cancun or playa del carmen) and we can't seem pick a resort..

 

I look at one, and it looks fantastic, but then I read something on trip advisor or on here that changes my mind...

Don't rely solely on trip advisor! I think the majority of people who end up reviewing resorts on there just want to complain. Seriously, every resort can't pelase everyone. When you're on a vacation, sit back and relax! People nit pick too much I think.

 

Now that my vent is over...on a different note, WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!

 

My advice to choose a resort: pick a country, then go to the country to resort shop! It'll be the best shopping trip, EVER!

I agree, and I usually know that there are always people that will complain about any and everything.. I guess I just had a moment of panic earlier doh.gif

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
