I was just wondering about bouquets. For those of you who have already been married, what bouquet did you choose? I'm having a hard time because the pictures aren't all that great. Does anyone have better pictures of the flowers?

Also, I was wondering if any of you had any experience with True Colors Photography?
Thanks Lisa. Unfortunately I can't open your attachment -guess cause I don't have enough points. Can you email it to me? I'll send you my email address.

I'm happy to hear what you're planning ie. no extras because that's pretty much what I'm thinking. I just don't want it to feel awkward when people are waiting for dinner and then the transition from dinner to dancing. Do you know if we can play any music during trhe semi private reception to do first dance? Also, is it private enough to do speeches?

Hey Lisa...you gave such a great review...thank you. I know that I will have questions for you as the date gets closer (we're under 3 months now!). I have some off the top of my head...

I'm thinking of taking decorations for the reception...can you bring stuff for the tables and get it decorated? You said you had a head table....can you choose how tables are set up?

What did you do after the dinner? And what did guests do between the ceremony and dinner?

Was the ceremony set-up that you had included in your wedding package or did you add anything?

Loved the flower in your hair....did you get that included?

Thank you so much for your review.....

I'm thinking of taking decorations for the reception...can you bring stuff for the tables and get it decorated? That I am not sure of because I didn't bring anything. I didn't want to complicate it, just plain and simple for me! lol

You said you had a head table....can you choose how tables are set up? We did have a head table but they set up the other tables. I'm sure you can ask, but like I said, I left it up to them, I wasn't too fussy about it.

What did you do after the dinner? And what did guests do between the ceremony and dinner? By the time dinner was done, it was about 8:45pm. Most people went for drinks and watched the show. We did for one drink, but we were tired and headed to bed! wink.gif We actually didn't have much time between the ceremony and dinner. By the time the ceremony was done and pictures with the group were taken, there was really only about 1 hour until dinner. Everyone just gathered at the bar and had some drinks. We had a couple of drinks, then had more pictures taken at sunset. It was really nice to have times so close together.

Was the ceremony set-up that you had included in your wedding package or did you add anything? It was included in the package. We did not add a single thing. I know you can add stuff if you want, but we didn't want the extra costs or trouble! lol

Loved the flower in your hair....did you get that included? Actually that's something that I've had for like 5 years now. I bought it at some cheap junky jewellery store! lol
Thank you so much for your review.....
If you have any more questions, ask away!!!!

I've just switched my resort from the Iberostar Rose Hall Beach to the Riu Negril. The prices for the Iberostar are $300 more than I want my guests to spend (and from what they were this year!). I originally wanted to get married in Negril so I'm pretty happy about this!!!

Noticed that this thread has been pretty slow...any new brides getting married here?!?! Just starting the process of planning what I want and reading through this thread has been a huge help!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
