The Diary of the food obsessive!

Recommended Posts

So I read somewhere that it helps to see your daily food intake wrote down, Feel free to post your daily food obsessed diary. Diet tips and feedback on how to make improvements welcome. smile78.gif

6.45am: Fresh chopped pineapple, blueberry and cherries with a strawberry yoghurt and a sprinkle of muesli.

9am: Large Mocha

11am: Sweet chilli prawn sandwich on granary.

12.30pm: Small Mocha

6.45pm: Homemade Salmon & Vegetable Rissotto with single cream, parmesan & cheddar. I know its bad but my favourite meals are the ones you eat from a bowl with a spoon! Stodgy, sticky and sooo damn tasty with garlic bread to mop up.

Great Idea. I keep a food journal for myself but the idea of posting for people to see might actually keep me from eating the napkin full of potato chips i just had!

AM--Egg white, turkey bacon on one slice whole wheat; handful cherries

PM-Turkey Chilli, individual bag pirate's booty; 1 jaw breaker

PM-Synergy Kombucha; mixed green salad with broccoli, cauliflower, red onions, sliced turkey and low fat ranch; handful potato chips

LATER (After Gym I will have some kind of protein and maybe a little sweet...)

Not too bad, for not being on a diet! Anything in small portions is my motto!!!

I highly recommend Naturally Thin by Bethanny Frankle for all who are diet obsessed. (I lost about 8 pounds in 2 months without depriving myself of anything!)

Reminds me of Bridget Jones!

I actually use a website to do that called fitday.com - it gives you calories, fat, fiber etc. Once you see how many calories things are it helps you reassess what you eat. So I know that the cream in my coffee ups my daily calories/fat, but I cannot use skim milk or drink it black....so I deal with it and cut calories/fat in other areas.

Coffee, fat free creamer, equal

Egg, white only,

1/2 Bagel,

2 pc Bacon,

EAS SHAKE CARB CONTROL shake

Fiber one bar

Scallops,

2 oz pasta

FI's homeade vodka sauce, but only a little bit!

I will eat blueberries and yogurt later.

I'm trying to stick to a 1000 calorie a day diet, which may seem extreme, but it's the only way I seem to lose weight.

ok I'm bad today....

breakfast: kashi cereal with milk (thats not the bad part)

lunch: In N Out burger (protein style at least - no bun) with fries

Now I'll try and eat healthy for dinner! I don't snack though - I probably should.

As often happens I get distracted on a Sunday (my usual only day off) doing everything I dont get chance to do through the week or defiantly doing nothing in protest of spending my day off having to do STUFF! Rant over.

Anyway as a result all I had today was fattening & garbage.

Several sweet black coffee's with choc chip cookies,

Cheese & pickle toastie sandwich

Homemade spicy wedges, chilli, topped with lots of grated cheese and garlic bread for dunking.

Now cos Im feeling thoroughly sorry for myself at working all day im going to have a hot chocolate with Baileys..... Thank God I've not bought my dress yet, if I keep going like this I'll need a sack!

Thanks for the tip finzup. I have finally found "THE DRESS" which is sliiinky and unlike anything I ever thought would flatter my ample hips but somehow it works!... However its just the kick up the butt that I need to stop procrastinating and get myself in better shape for the wedding. smile29.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
