I just have to figure out colors and how many and I'll pm you glenda!

You're such a sweetheart for doing this for everyone!

~Cancunbride2b I wish I could tell you where they are but I swear to you everytime I go there I get lost. LOL. Every store looks the same. They are defenitly on broadway. I think they are between canal and something else. It's by the Q train station. But if you just go to chinatown and walk up and down the shops you will see them. They have them in almost every store. They usually sell them for 3 for $10 but I bargain with them and I have been able to get them for $2.75 especially since I have such a large order. The trick is asking them, they will say no, then walk away and act like you don't care. They usually call you back as your walking away and agree to your price.
Thanks! I have friends that live in the city so I think I am going to try and grab them on my own when I visit and save you some heavy lifting. I will need ~50 of them, so I figure I can get the price down to about where you are.
I think you are absolutely wonderful for doing this for all the other girls!! It is truly amazing how kind everyone on this site is! Everyone is so giving (you especially!) and willing to go out of their way for people they have never met face to face! I love it and I don't know what I would do without this site!

Glenda, You're the best for offering to do this.

I don't have formal RSVPs right now, but if I were to guess, I'll need approx 25.

I would like them in Aqua and/or light tan.

The ones you got for KarlaV look great.

If you can't get all 25 in aqua/ then half and half Aqua/Tan would be great. Backup would be all tan... just depends on what you can find. I hope your lady has these.

Do you recall approx how much shipping was for previous girls? As far as gas, that's sooo not a problem.

I PM'd you my info. Let me know if you need it again. Also, the paypal idea is great. We could pay you instantly or before you even get them.

Thanks again!

Glenda, you're such a saint for doing this!

If you have too many "orders" to handle mine this trip, I can wait a few months! wink.gif

I'm curious what kind of colours there are. Blue is in my colours, but I don't like aqua blue. Is there something close to this:

If not, then I'm happy with beige and white (maybe a mix of both). I need 25. I'll PM my address to you. Sorry if I'm too picky - I really do appreciate everything you're doing (and have done) for all of us brides! wink.gif

I agree with Courtney--- Glenda, if you have too many orders on this trip, don't bother getting mine, I still have a ton of time left...

And I agree with everyone else---- you are an amazing asset to this forum! You have been so helpful to everyone on here, with the offers to get pashminas for everyone, as well as the advice you've given. You show real compassion and sensitivity to everyone on here and the issues they post from their lives. And very seldom do you ask for anything back from anyone. On the occassions when you have posted for advice on your own situations, there has been a humble quality to your words. I, for one, really enjoy seeing you on here and am grateful for what you contribute to all of us!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
