KatKen's AZUL Sensatori Review - 6/5/09

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Thanks for the great review, you looked amazing.

You said that you went to the a different hotel for the Honeymoon? Did you say it was Le Blanc?

That is where we are going for our honeymoon too after a week at AS and just curious if you were pleased that you moved for the second week?

Thanks

Gemma

love those pics of you and hubby in the sea - did you have a different dress for that? or if not, did you have another dress to wear for the rest of the evening?

has it cleaned out all ok now??

Thanks so much!

Katie.
Hi Katie,

I did not use a different dress for my trash the dress. I decided I was never going to wear the thing again and I loved my dress and really wanted all of my pictures in it. I did the TTD the next morning after the wedding. That's what I would suggest doing.

After the TTD session I took about a 45 minute shower with my dress! I rinsed it off and shook out the sand and left it hanging for 24 hours. When I came back to check on it, it was as good as new!

A lot of girls have mentioned the ocean water really does "clean" it and it does. With that said, I wouldn't get in the ocean before your ceremony/reception. Wait until the next day!

We did go to Le Blanc for the second week. We were nervous to leave AS because we liked it so much. But once we were at Le Blanc, we were glad we moved. Le Blanc is perfect for a honeymoon. It's quiet, no kids, romantic, just has a perfect honeymoon vibe.

There is a thread on Le Blanc on the forum and I posted some photos there. Also the trip advisor reviews are right on about Le Blanc.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
