happy with my wedding dress????

Recommended Posts

The same thing happened to me! I only spent one day shopping and at the time I knew I had picked the right dress. But then you start seeing all these amazing dresses you didn't even know existed and you start to wonder...the dress looks beautiful on you and I am sure that on the day of your wedding you will be happy that you chose it.

It's so nice to not be the only one feeling the same way! haha I really do love my dress and I even put it on again last night. I do notice that all the dresses I like are similar in different ways, but I guess it's because I know what would look good on me. I feel better once I have it on and I guess once my dress has all the final alterations done and it's even more perfect I won't have to second guess myself(even though I'm sure I will still be look at other dresses until the day of the wedding haha). But, in the end all that counts is being happy on my wedding day. I'm going to try my hardest not to be a two dress bride. lol

I have felt the same way about my dress. I absolutely loved it when I bought it, but have seen so many other brides on here that look fabulous in their dresses. Come to think of it, I think I have second guessed most of my decisions when I see the great ideas on this forum!

I have to say I think you look gorgeous in your dress, though.

In the end I think no matter what dress you wear, you will love it. The day is about so much more than just the dress (or at least thats how i feel). Teh dress I ended up buying is definitely not my dream dress, but I got it for $100 and in the end saving the money was worth more to me than getting my 'dream dress' for one day. You will glow in whatever dress you wear, and i think the one you already have looks fantastic on you!

It fits me almost perfectly, but I need to have the length shortened a little bit because I'm not that tall (if I wore heels it would be okay, but we r getting married on the beach) and the straps need to be taken in slightly. I might add cups to it because I don't plan on wearing a bra unless I absolutely need to. I was also thinking to change the zipper back to a corset back but not sure yet.

I'm sure we'd all love to have a million dresses if we could!

I've seen your dress in another thread and it's beautiful! Just keep everything in perspective and stop second guessing yourself! You will be glowing on your day in whichever dress you chose because you're marrying the love of your life! :)
Yup-what she said.

I think when you TRULY are UNhappy with your dress, theres no making yourself happy with it. I've fallen in and out of love with dresses (and bought them) twice now, and then the third one is FINALLY THE ONE. I know it is because even though I love a bunch of others and sometimes wonder if something like them is the direction I should have gone in, nothing makes me NOT love MY dress. I look at it and fall in love all over again.

If you feel torn, then you love your gown. When you don't love it, you know it cuz you aren't conflicted at all. If you think about it and think theres even a possibility that you're just reacting to seeing so many beautiful gowns all the time, then do yourself a huge favor and stop looking! It will drive ya nuts, seriously!

You're dress is gorgeous, perfect for a beach wedding and most of all WAY flattering on you!

I would keep your dress, I think it looks beautiful on you! I always find myself straying of on someone elses ideas but when I really sit down and think about it I'm doing things the way I originally wanted them and I need to stick with it...Ithink about getting a different style of dress everytime I watch 'say yes to the dress' ...which is like daily ...haha...Keep your dress, you love it and you'll be happy you did!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
