New section suggestion?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I looked through several forum/folders and did a search but didn't find anything, so I really hope I'm not suggesting something that has already been discussed...

as I was looking through a few things tonight, I thought it might be helpful if a forum were divided by geographic areas (based on where us brides are from). Though it's awesome (and I'm incredibly grateful to have come across this forum!) to be able to chat about the destination/wedding locations we have in common, I sometimes find it a little disappointing when I hear of a really great deal, event or idea only to find out that it's not available in Canada or in my city. It might be a nice idea to be able to easily find/share local resources/stores/events going on based on where we're coming from... just a thought... have a great night,

Tanya

I've been thinking of suggesting this, too. I also think a section for the wedding months would be nice. Currently people start threads like "April 09 brides." But, there could be a section for these posts & the posts might already be set up so people can jump right in.

we've actually discussed having a seperate canada section but decided against it...you can start threads if you would like BUT we are trying to not seperate brides, if we do a canada section, then we need to do a mexico section, then erupe section, then asia...you sort of get my point.

also for for months, it really is better if we have seperate threads for this than forums. the forum is already chopped up enough as is.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
