Freakin out a little...

Recommended Posts

So my wedding is in 3 weeks at RMB and I know there have been changes with the wedding coordinators. I have been really laid back with everything but after talking to some people on here and finding out they received emails inquiring about what they wanted I started freaking out a little! I have not received any email from them asking about choices in ceremony site, cake, flowers, reception, etc. I emailed them in the beginning of the week telling them I wanted to book a private beach reception and the DJ but still have not heard anything back. What should I dohuh.gif Email them again with all of my requests or should I try and call someone? I just don't want to get down there and not be able to have the reception and ceremony site that I want.

Thanks for letting me vent!

I just called and spoke to Roxianna. I booked the private beach reception from 6pm-9pm, DJ for 3 hours. The ceremony on the beach and steel drum band for 1 hour during the ceremony. She said I could pick the cake and flowers when we arrive down there. I am not really too concerned with that. I feel much better after talking to her.

Although you spoke to her, maybe to be on the safe side, you should ask her for her email address & reconfirm everything that you booked in an email to her so that you have it in writing for your records! Again, just to be on the safe side!
I'm glad that your mind is at ease now...3 weeks will fly by & you'll be at RMB before you know it.

I emailed her right after I spoke to her with everything we spoke about in the email. Better safe than sorry. It's getting so close!!! I can't believe how time has flown by...I feel like I just got engaged!

To let you know Roxianna is absolutely amazing and wonderful to work with. I just got married here at RMB on Friday and it went beautifully...I couldn't have been happier. We ended up deciding on the private beach reception...not something we originally planned on but decided to do it when we arrived. We are so glad we did....it made the wedding that much better. Our guests keep telling us how wonderful the wedding was, how beautiful it was, and how it is something they were so glad to be a part of.

I know it is hard...trust me, been there and done that...but Roxianna and the other WC (can't remember her name) are great. Just take a deep breath and enjoy the day....

I'll write a full reveiw in the couple of weeks. I have to travel for work for a week as soon as I get back. But, if you have any questions/concerns, feel free to PM me.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
