Hopefully Ashlee will work through issues.
Ditto Michelle! Same story as mine basically. I'm hoping the second time around is better :-)

Aimee - I didn't know you are already legally married, congrats! cheesy.gif
:) thanks! i was married when i first joined the forum- sneaky right? we were married right after i graduated (Dec 2007, married in Jan) & moved to madison, wi for my "real" job. at that point we'd been engaged for about a month, so everyone thought i was pregnant. silly family! but we just wanted to tie the knot before moving in together & save up for a fantastic party in Mexico. plus it was a nice bonus to start my career with my married name-- it's a hard thing to get used to... i still forget sometimes. lol.

hmm what a good question. i lean more toward what megan said. i thought i was going to marry my bf at 25 and now look! and also like meg's parents, my parents (whos 37th wedding anniversary is today btw!) got married "young"and had all three of us kids before they were 30. so things moved fast and they are still in love soooo i guess it depends on the people involved.

ya know what it is imo- people give up too fast and dont try to save their marriages like they used too. maybe people didnt divorce back then b/c it was frowned upon but to me, divorce is just a "word" these days and taken too lightly. not that i think everyone should stay together, but hopefully you got what im saying. if i made any sense, lol.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
