Did you ever get the feeling like you are going a little overboard with the fine details? I decided to have a Wedding Invitation Consultant assist me with my STD and invitation designs. I love what she has done for me and now I just want the perfect finishing touch so I have created started to create custom postage. Has anyone else done this? Is it too over the tophuh.gif

Here's what I designed for my STD:

I ordered custom postage stamps for my invites from zazzle as well. I wanted to jazz up the invites a little since they are basic 5x7 w/o all the bells and whistles you normally see with wedding invites. I just used one of the predesigns on zazzle - it's a pic of the ocean and turquoise is one of my colors. Then I used a turqoise glitter gelly pen to address. I haven't gotten the stamps yet but I think it will look really nice.

I love the custom postage but it is a little pricey! So I may do them for our wedding thank you's! Just to add an extra touch and show our thanks!

I am also hand making all of our thank yous and calender of events. Gotta love stampin' up and my consultant for helping me!!!!

I think it adds a great personal touch and a nice way to show we care!

We are having a resort wedding. This was a picture from our cruise, and I actually bought the book on how to fold the towels. Anyone that comes and stays with us usually gets an elephant or dog on their bed. So I thought it would be a personal touch and give the idea of vacation.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
