Here is a picture of the Travel Mugs I bought! Can someone please give me some cute ideas on how I should personalize them? Should I put stickers on them? If so what kind will stick? or should I get some paint pens and just write everyones names on them?

HELP!!

I have used a label maker in the past and it worked perfectly! I think you can get clear labels that would print with black...if you put that on the silver part of the mug, it would look pretty good! You could use the persons "real" name or a nick name, and even put your wedding date or a personal message on it.

Another fun thing to do with the mugs is buy some party straws...you know the ones with the fake flowers on them and other things...the decorations have to be material or plastic though...paper (as in the paper parasol ones) will be destroyed in no time. We have always brought straws for our travel mugs as the resort we frequent doesn't supply them.

They had them on special at Canadian tire for $5.99 but that was 2 weeks ago. Keep your eye out on them there tho.

The only problem I have about the label maker's and labels, I can't find waterproof. Only in the states, so for you guys it's great, but us canadian's I am having no luck. You will need to have waterproof labels if you want it to last even 1 day.

hi! i got the same mugs for our guests! i'm not sure if you're trying to personalize them by putting your wedding info on them, or if you mean that you want to attach each guests name...

i used little letter beads and some colour beads to spell out each guests name. i put the beads on some rubber beading string and tied it to the handles...i'm HORRIBLE at describing it, but it actually turned out super-cute. and there's no way the names will fall off. all the supplies were really cheap from michaels--less than $10 to do 40 mugs.

we're not putting any of our wedding info on the mugs...sorry if that's the info you were looking for...

I was going to get clear sticker paper and pring my own labels, however, even though the avery labels say clear - they have a frosted look. I printed out some anyway and put on one of the mugs and it doesn't look very good at all. I found some on the internet at Labels by the Sheet and ordered a couple of sheets. They claim to be glossy clear, which I think what is needed for completely clear see-through labels. I haven't received them yet, but we'll see once they arrive. They were only 90 cents each.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
