Just a quick report for all you T&C brides.  Tomas shifted east last night, so we just got a little wind and rain.  Here at the house the gusts were max 34 mph.  We've already taken a few of the shutters down off the screened in porch and are preparing for a blustery day as Tomas heads north in the Atlantic.  I would suspect they'll open the airport today.  We're relieved that it was more of a "non-event".

Read your blog...HELP!!! My daughter wants this destination wedding in T&C We have been in touch with Diane and are deceiding now about which venue. We were pretty happy with the somerset and find they can be quite flexible about customizing a plan. Then my daughter saw the royal palms...gorgeous property but seem to be less flexible and the rooms quite a bit more expensive. As a new yorker I would love to have a good option right here! My daughter was supposed to get married three years ago...The wedding was set to take place at tribecca rooftop. The proverbial shit hit the fan and down went the economy...long story short she and her fiancee never made it to the alter. Thankfully she met her present fiancee and things are quite different now financially....I would love to do a wedding here but we feel we have exhausted every option we like and none are of a suitable budget. Gustavinos was another venue we loved but the expense??? I read that you are an event planner...perhaps you could offer some direction. Destination verses new york. Hey Krys - if you are around I have a question. I was trying to finalize my appointment with Shenique for makeup and the email I just sent her bounced back as undeliverable. Do you have current contact for her by any chance? The email I have is sheperfection@express.tc - is this not right?

I was going to say try the email Michelle gave you (info@shequemakeup.com)  .  It could have bounced back for a couple of reasons, one being sometimes the island servers get messed up.  If you can't get in touch via that one as well let me know and I can try the good ol' telephone on island to see if she's having computer/server problems.
