Cake Boss on TLC

I would soooo would have delivered the cake she destroyed.

I loved how she was asking if anything about her made him think she wanted a traditional cake...like he was supposed to read her mind about what she wanted.

I think she didn't come out to see it because she was too embarrassed to face him.

I have watched Cake Boss a few times and yes I did see that episode - unbelievable! What a BRIDEZILLA! I felt so furious. Mainly bc my FI was looking at me with this look that said "see, you brides ARE crazy!". She seriously gives all brides a bad name. Good luck to her new husband is all I can say!

If I was the cake boss I would have just delivered that cake that she ruined. I can't believe that he was so nice to make her that amazing new cake, and even then she wouldn't come out and say thank you or anything... sheesh!

I love that show, the cakes are amazing. I saw that episode...what a psycho wack job she was. Lucky for her he is nice and her mom was so sweet otherwise she would not have gotten another cake. I could not believe what an amazing job he did on both cakes and then for her to not even look at it. If I was her mother I would have said something...wedding day or not!! There are no excuses to act that way, seems like she needs to do a bit more growing up!

I don't know... I really feel like the cakes he made for her were so off from what she wanted. Ruining the cake was unacceptable, but I can definitely see why she would be upset because the cake was so generic and unlike her in any way. I think the second one was even more off base than the first one. When a girl says she wants her cake "funeral-like," it doesn't really say quilts and pearls to me.

This is the first episode I've seen, and I have to say I'm not really a fan. It feels like a less creative, ruder Ace of Cakes. The "Cake Boss" seems like he doesn't want to take input from anybody and doesn't try to get all the information on his clients or staff.

All in all though, we all know that not everything for our weddings will be perfect, and I do hope that that girl had just taken a crazy pill that day and doesn't treat her husband like that!

I was shocked when I saw that episode! That girl is one spoiled selfish brat! I wanted to slap her! I agree that both cakes were far too traditional for her tastes (even I, who has little creativity, could figure that out) but I couldn't believe her behaviour. She's probably gotten through life throwing tantrums to get what she wants. Someone needs to put her in her place and I highly doubt it will be her husband!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
