Mexican themed save the dates

Recommended Posts

Hey ladies,

So I have been looking around on the net for save the dates that reflect our Mexico destination wedding an really haven't been that impressed with any. They all seem to be Las Vegas themed. HOnestly I feel like I have looked at 40-50 sites and still not finding what I want. Maybe I am being too picky but I want something cute as it will be my first real thing that I will have done for my wedding.

Thanks

Hi,

I am a Mexico Bride as well and encountered the same problem as you. I could not find ANYTHING that I liked! We finally decided on Boarding Pass Save-the-Dates. They turned out cute, and all of our guests have really like them. It was such a stress-reliever to finally make the choice!

Good Luck!

I did a paper airplane and on one side (wing) we printed "Please save the date! Tony and Jessalyn are getting married June 23, 2007". On the other wing we printed, "Book your flight! Passport required...Destination ~ Cabo San Lucas, Mexico". When the airplane was unfolded we had printed inside all of the details regarding the room reservations and our website.

I know they're not a Mexican theme....they're more along the line of the boarding pass theme....thought I'd share anyway. Our guests thought they were really cute. Oh, and I made them in photoshop.

Good luck. Hope you find just what you're looking for!

I actually got a template from another bride on the forum and made my own. I haven't been able to post a pic yet but I am very proud with the way they came out. If you would like the template PM me and I will send it to you. Several brides on this forum use the same template. There were a few problems with formatting but in the end they all look really good. However if you would like to order the boarding pass STD I believe { aylee designs } and Prim and Pixie has them and a few other sites.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
