Sunrider Tours-Pricing Information

Recommended Posts

Hi Girls,

I just thought I would pass along some information regarding Sunrider Tours. I have just booked a private cruise tour with them and I am paying $40.55pp with a guarantee of 40 people. For every additional person, I will pay $35pp and children are half price.

Also, there is a public tour that you could use Vouchers that saves you about $15pp so your cost per person is about $30. The vouchers have to purchased through Los Cabos Guide. Below is the link:

Cabo San Lucas Prepaid Voucher Discount Program - Discounts Available

The only downside is that they will not reserve a section of the boat for your party.

Los Cabos Guide offers vouchers for different vendors so for those brides looking for some discounts I would definitly check out the link.

I really like your quote instead. That actually works out better. Who did you speak with? Did you have to do a lot negotiation?

Thanks,

No, that was the price he gave if you guarantee you'll have a minimum of 50 people. I sent an email to their regular email address I found on the main page, and Mario is the one who responded to me with that price. You have to pay 50% now though so you need to be sure you'll have at least 50 people I think.

I went back and forth on this as well because I didn't want to spend the additional money for private tour. Then after thinking about it so more, I decided to do the private tour because it's more intimate and I just wanted to share the boat with people I knew.

I fully endorse private tour - I've read some other reivews where people regretted not doing a private tour, but never heard the reverse. Our guests felt so special having their own private boat and no one had to fight over seats or get there early to try to get on first. Of course, if you only have 20 people, it's not cost effective to do a private tour. On escape the sun boat tour - they only have you guarantee 35 if you have a smaller crowd.

I just returned from our wedding in Cabo and did a private tour with Sunrider, we only had 32 guests and a few children. I paid $50 something, closer to $60, will have to look up the exact amount, but somewhere in that ballpark, per person. The price per person goes down the more guests you have.

I have no regrets, the staff was great, food was delicious, drinks were definitely flowing, as I only remember half the trip, hehehe.

My guests felt so special having a boat to themselves, they pointed out all the famous places, they played great music, kept us dancing, laughing, eating, and drinking.

If it's within your budget I would recommend a private boat. We loved it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
