Custom made wedding dress in progress!

Recommended Posts

OMG Lisa I just wanted to say congratulations on the weight loss!!! Honestly, I can't see someone being offended over that though. It's not like she lives around the corner and you're deciding to take it to someone else. I think its super exciting and can't wait to see the pics!!!

Lisa,

I just found this post today and I am so excited for you! That is great that you are having your aunt make it for you! What talent she has!

Congrats on the weight loss too! I'm also trying to shed some pounds before the big day! I am also having my wedding dress custom made. But, since I live in China (Home to mostly ALL wedding dresses) I was able to show the wedding dress tailor pictures of mine (Bonny dress) and she is making it for me! I go for my first fitting in 2weeks! I can hardly wait!!

I love seeing the progress on your dress! I bet it has been fun being involved in the "making" of it. You will be a beautiful bride no doubt!!!!

Keep us all updated... this is very exciting!

Congrats on the weight loss Lisa!!! I think your dress is gorgeous and your Aunt loves you so at the end of the day altering your dress to fit your new slimmer body will be the icing on the cake for her!

I agree with sending her the pics to show just how much needs to come in and who knows, she may either come back early to do this or she might tell you to have a local seamstress do this.

Your going to look so beautiful on your big day!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
