I'm soooo psyched that you are going to be documenting the construction of your dress on BDW -- SUCH A GREAT IDEA! Instead of like, "Pimp My Ride", it's like your very own version of "PRIMP MY DRESS"! wink.gif

 

And you look so happy and beautiful -- did you check out how you were grinning as you were looking at yourself, in the dress, in the mirror?! Priceless....just like the memories you will create with your aunt while going through this amazing Dress Creation Adventure!

Alright, so the FI finally left the house and now I can post this pic! This is during my second fitting and my mom wasn't there to take a million pictures this time, so I only have the one! lol

 

The lace has now been added overtop the satin. A Chantilly lace will be added to the top (as you can see in the picture) and across the bottom of the dress. My aunt did take the dress in from the last picture and she will also be rising the empire waist as it made me look like a had really long, saggy boobs! lol You can't see it in the pic, but it just drops to the floor, no train on it. It still has to be hemmed to the right lenght as now she is lifting the empire waist.

 

I guess that's all for now, more to come! Enjoy ladies!! :)

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
