I know we have one bride looking into Napa now, so I wanted to offer my opinion of Silverado. I've stayed there twice in the last 3 years and it truely is a fabulous place with fabulous service. I would say a big draw here is the golfing and spa facilities. I witnessed a wedding back in May and it was quite beautiful, although I'm sure rather expensive. The Mansion on the property is a fun place to host a wedding weekend event - the bar is very cool and they have live jazz music on Fridays & Saturdays.

Hi,

I actually just stayed at Silverado over the weekend in Napa. I really love this resort, it is not the most modern but is lovely and has great service. I have a background in hospitality as I worked for The Ritz-Carlton as a wedding planner so service is important to me.

You can also visit my website at Lulu Events if you have more questions. I specialize in weddings in Wine Country & San Francisco.

Kimberly Crego is the wedding specialist at Silverado and she is very lovely and helpful.

Thank you!

Since I am a "Napkin" (from Napa) I am partial. The country club is fabulous. It is absolutly beautiful year round, the food is supurb, and the staff is excellent. It is a bit pricey, but you will not be dissapointed. My future sister in-law works there and loves it. Please feel free to ask me if you have any questionsmile29.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
