Umm... I'm not sure exactly. When I saw it right away I just knew I didn't like it. I think it's a combination of the pants (they look like pj pants with that suit to me) and... that particular shade of grey. I'm not sure why, it just looks kind of ratty to me. BUT this is just my own opinion, and I'm completely not fashion forward, so if this is trendy I'll probably start to like it in 5-10 years! lol

Just curious... what made you pick that grey suit?

Actually, I would not use the striped pants. I would just use the matching plain grey ones. But, I did like the shade of grey. Hmmmm...

Good thing I have several more months to keep looking :)

Thanks for your help!

im not a fan of grey ever. it seems so drab to me. and when i think of DWs i think of anything but drab. heres a pic from a wedding i shot where the groom wore a white suit. i even like that much, much more than the grey.

but thats just my opinion so take it for what its worth. my husband actually wore a khaki suit at our wedding in palm springs and i love that suit. he looked so handsome. but im biased :)

I vote khaki too!

I think the grey suit looks out of place on the beach, almost too stuffy or uncomfortable for some reason. When I see the darker suits pictured on grass, however, that looks great, but on the sand it looks weird to me.

But then again, my FI loves khaki!

And Leigh, I like the white suit, don't know if he would do that though, great suggestion.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
