Oooh! I'm so excited that there's a thread here on steam mops. I've had my eye on the H20, but wasn't sure which would be best... Now I"m going to check out that link that Rachel posted. Thanks!

Ok so I used the Bissell and forgot to update. I actually really liked it. One of the consumer complaints was that it left hardwood floors too wet. I didn't have that problem at all. They looked just as wet as they do when I hand mop.

I did have to stop and fill the water container up twice I think. It was not a huge hassle in my opinion so I'm not sure why people really complain about that. It's so easy so they are just whiners. :) Plus it heats right back up pronto.

I didn't see a ton of steam like you do in the infomercial. But I felt the heat on the floor and when I picked the mop up and looked at it I could see the steam. So it's there- its just not big steam clouds or anything.

I would say that I don't think it's a good "scrubber" mop- like if something is REALLY stuck the floor. I guess I'm not comfortable using it to put a little elbow grease in. I would just grab a rag and clean the spot manually if that were the case.

I can't really think of anything else I have to say on it, but if you have any questions, please let me know. I'm going to whip that bad boy out again this weekend so I may have more to say!

My FI, who hates to mop floors, saw the Shark steam mop and ordered it while I was away. When I heard about it, I was convinced that we'll have to send it back but when it arrived i changed my tune. My FI has been mopping every three days or so (we also have wood floor everywhere). . .so besides the floor being sparkling clean, I have not had to mop our floors in the last three months...Yay!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
