deodorant/anti-perspirant

I too had this issue when I was a teenager and have tried them all, including a prescription from my dermatologist (I think it was Drysol, but I felt like my armpits were burning). I would definitely recommend CertainDri, which I used to find at CVS. This worked as well as the CertainDri for me, and you could put it on in the AM (Though, they recommend using it at nighttime too). I don't remember getting the "deodorant balls" - it was a roll on, so you can't see it.

I don't have a problem with sweating anymore, and will use the Secret Clinical Strength or the Dove clinical one now.

Hope this helps!

I love Drysol. I think in the US though you need a presciption for it.

Word to the wise, do not use drysol right after shaving! The first few times you apply it, use it sparingly and rub it in with your fingertips. It can make your armpits a little irritated at first, but it will go away.

I use it a few times a week , and regular deoderant every day. The combination works great. Drysol is clear liquid (like alcohol) and goes on with a spongy applicator.

I'm a big advocate for drysol as well0 it works wonders for constant sweaters like me. :) When I first started using it, I had to put it on maybe 2-3 times a week at night. Now I sweat so little (because of the drysol) that I find I only need to put it on once every 3 weeks or so. DO be careful about not putting it on right after shaving because it will irritate your skin. The first couple times you use it, you might find your armpits get very itchy. That only lasted for an hour or so after I put it on the first couple times. Now I can't live without this stuff!

Really? that's interesting! Thanks for the info, I may have to check that out!

I checked Wal-Mart and couldn't find the Drysol. Do you have to ask the pharmasist?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
