Does this email to my guests encouraging them to book sound too pushy

I just composed and sent out this email tonight to encourage my invitees, who plan to attend the wedding to book their travel. I don't think it sounded too pushy but would love to get some opinions. Let me know and gracias!

Hola!

We hope you all are doing well and enjoying your summer.

In case you are thinking about joining us in Cancun, we are writing out of friendly courtesy to let you know that the Orbitz sale is scheduled to end on June 18, 2009 and the Excellence Resorts sale, offering 35% off, will expire on June 30, 2009. We want to ensure that all who attend have the opportunity to get the best rates possible. Also, for those of your traveling from NYC, I have also found great airfare rates out of both Newark and JFK airport in the $200 to $300 range for a non-stop flight!

In addition, we would like to let you know that we have recently updated the "events" page of our website jenandken2009.com to include the full description of the menu choices in case you are having a hard time deciding! If you have already RSVPed but would like to change your mind after reading the full description, just shoot one of us an email.

Just a friendly reminder that passports are now required for travel into Mexico. If you are planning to come to Mexico with us, now would be a great time to make sure your passport is up to date or to get your passport if you do not have one. With the new requirements newly implemented, at times, the US Department of State can be backed up on issuing them - generally it takes 4 to 6 weeks. Passport applications can be obtained and submitted through your local Post Office. Just bring two 2 x 2 color passport photos, taken within 6 months, and a check or money order in the amount of $75 made out to the US Department of State. Detailed information on passports can be found on the US Department of State website Welcome to Travel.State.Gov

Gracias!
Jen and Ken

I think that email is very nicely worded and no one should take offense. You are being pushy, just giving a friendly and courteous reminder. I would be unhappy if I was one of your guest and had forgotten about the deadline. I think they will be very appreciative of the reminder and also the update to check your website.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
