I want to do these too, but I'll probably put the guests' names on them. I think it will make it easier for everyone to remember whose room is whose (I have about 70 guests). I like the idea of putting one of these funny sayings on the other side. Good idea!

I worry about putting names on doors for security reasons. I cringe when I see kids with backpacks with their names on them or the family fan with all the family members named.

I know it's adults you're talking about and maybe I'm just paranoid from watching all those investigative/murder shows late at night. :)

I'm just as paranoid!! I hate those van stickers!!! Everytime I see one I want to rip it off to save the kids from being abducted.

  • 2 months later...

I finished my door hangers over the weekend.. actually I finished them tonight. I spelled out "No Moleste" on all of them.. so cute, then duh realized it should be "No Molestar".. they aren't perfect but I removed the "e" and squeezed in the "ar".. oh, well, people aren't going to care. I'll be lucky if they hang them on their doors. lol I plan on putting in their OOT bags.

The hangers were purchased from Oriental Trading Co, same with the "mexican inspired" foam stickers.. the letters were bought in a container from Michaels for $4.99.

Everything had sticky back so it was really easy. For the letters that didn't stick very well, I used my tape gun.

Target had in the dollar bins door hangers that are also white boards so you can write notes on them - I bought them for our wedding - I will just put peoples initials on them so we can find each other at Riu - also that people can say where they are "I'm at the pool" etc....

Agreed. We've asked guests to not bring gifts to Mexico, but I'm sure we'll be getting cards/cash.. we're planning on using our luggage lock on our suitcases when we aren't in the room for our camera/other valuables. I may even give some to our MOH/BM (married couple) to hold... I'm super paranoid about security issues.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
