quote/poem/message for our trail mix favors?

Recommended Posts

We absolutely love trail mixes (I know that's corny, LOL!) and decided we wanted to mix up nuts, raisins, orange M&Ms (our wedding color) and put the mix in small mason type jars with a screw up lid...we're going to place them in a box that's filled with shredded recycled paper and tie the box up with a ribbon...so we want to include a thank you note to the box but want something clever...something that would mention "mix" or "trail"...we love quotes but haven't come across anything that mentions either of those words that pertain to love or marriage...any thoughts? maybe we have some writers on here :)

Ok...this is hard! But I've never been good at searching...maybe you could make one up; I'm sure there's someone talented on here to help....

I'm definitely not good at this, but maybe something about the ingredients of love or marriage and mixing them up?

Love is _______________ all mixed up?

or something as simple as "Happy Trails! Love, Sandra & Mario"

I know it's not a quote, but this is my fave!

i love quotations too! i thought there'd be a ton about mix or trail, so i looked up unity and joining together and blahblah but there aren't a lot of those too!

Here are a few I found that are a little relevant:

What greater thing is there for two human souls than to feel that they are joined... to strengthen each other... to be at one with each other in silent unspeakable memories.

~ George Eliot

Marriage is the union of two divinities that a third might be born on earth. It is the union of two souls in a strong love for the abolishment of separateness. It is that higher unity which fuses the separate unities within the two spirits. It is the golden ring in a chain whose beginning is a glance, and whose ending is Eternity. It is the pure rain that falls from an unblemished sky to fructify and bless the fields of divine Nature.

~ Kahlil Gibran

Love is the expansion of two natures in such fashion

that each include the other,

each is enriched by the other.

~ Felix Adler

I like the last one the most and it seems pretty applicable. I got these from Love Quotes, Famous Quotations, Romantic Love Quotes, You Love to Quote maybe you'll find something else there. I also looked up sand ceremony wording b/c the concept seems similar. Maybe you could play with the wording so it's not a mix of sand but a mix of nuts, raisins, orange M&Ms!

Hope that helped.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
