EASY out of town bag ideas

Recommended Posts

I think that's a great idea... Or maybe a GC to the spa at the resort or something would be nice too... I think I'm spending about $10-15 per OOT bag when it's all said and done (with bulk orders etc). But I think that making them is time consuming so going with the gc is a great idea.

Hi! We haven't put a letter together yet. I figured we'd be able to find a bunch here but, surprisingly, there doesn't seem to be many (or maybe I just can't find them!?). Here's one that someone was nice enough to post -- http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t43806

Yes, sounds like a great and easy idea and could be economical if it replaces the OOT bag and favors. Although we have a TON of stuff in our oot bags and they are less than $10 each so I think the main benefit for you is saving on lugging the stuff down there/putting them together.

I would just suggest that where ever the gift certificate is for, they have things for that amount. (The Spa would be great, but few spas have services for that low, so many might go unused).

What we are going to do is scatter rock sweets all over the tables like you would petals, for the guests to help themselves to.We will get them done in our wedding colours and have just married or mrs and mrs.We are keeping it very simple,as it is just a handful of friends {4} and our children and our parents. At the end of the night the kids can scoop whats left into there pockets.we only have 20 guests x

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
