I am so glad I am not the only one!! Chandlyn hasn't gotten back to me on much either!! We are getting married at 1:00 on February 7 '07. I think it will give the guests time to get a drink and some lunch in between. No different then having a wedding here. Usually you have that couple hours in between the ceremony and reception. Wow 80 guests that is alot of people. I can't wait for the menus!!

I'm not sure about the Plantation... we have a small group, so we're just doing the semi-private dinner & renting out the disco afterwards.

I haven't booked the reception yet b/c Chandlyn has not gotten back to me. I emailed her a few weeks back and she said they don't plan weddings til 2 months beforehand!!! Then I wrote back a few days ago asking if I could at least reserve a reception venue and haven't heard anything yet. Any ideashuh.gif??
Hmmm... my ceremony will be at 4, so there's really not any time in between. Maybe you can just hang out at the bars. I don't think you'd have enough time for TOO much. Hmmm, I'll think about this! rolleyes.gif Oh, and there is no option for a semi-private luncheon or anything like that - just dinner.

My welcome bags are probably going to have much of the same - definitely the cups, since Riu has little cups!

If you host the images on another site (like photobucket.com), the pictures will show up here.

Oh, and thanks for the menu info!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
