The floral strapless dress in clover
I wanted something simple too, but did fall in love with my dress. I love them both now!
My one sister wanted the floral dress from David's, but the other didn't, so we looked around. We ended up getting them at Stella Maris, which is right off of 476 on MacDade Blvd. They are tea length pink strapless dresses. Funny b/c I really wanted light green, but this dress looked so good on all of my BMs in the pink.

It doesn't sound too formal to me, I think it sounds just right!

Chandlyn told me that the Plantation tables seat 8 and they are rectangle (they push together 2 4-person tables).

We were hoping to get the huge suite with the jacuzzi too. I told my FI that he needs to find a place to sleep the night before b/c my BMs and I are having a sleepover and getting ready in the morning. His GMs are already warning me about what they have planned for the night before...uh oh!

The aisle runner is cloth and white. It is 45 dollars. It is $40 for a bag of 100 rose petals. They can be pink, ted, yellow, peach, and ivory. I personally think that price is crazy for rose petals. I am going to make my aisle runner out of rose petals, because my dress is ivory. I think the white aisle runner will really clash. I will probably bring silk petals from home, or find someone in Ocho Rios with a better price.

We also booked a junior suite. I would love to get the upgrade, but we are only going to be there 5 days, and then we will go to CSA for our honeymoon. My FI is staying in our room the night before the wedding. He has something planned, and he needs access to the room. I will stay with my Mom and Sister the night before the wedding. I can't wait to see what he has up his sleeve.

I would get a move on with your dress. I ordered my dress in December, and it didn't arrive until April. The lace for my vail didn't come in until May, and I am still waiting on the beads I ordered. Good thing I wasn't is a hurry. My dress is a little more formal for a DW. I bought it when I was planning a traditional wedding. I would have gotten something super casual, but I had already fallen in love with my dress. Other wise, I would have done a little sun dress. Just do what feels right for you. There are NO rules. Make it your own.

We ordered 22oz. pearl white plastic travel coffee mugs with lids from customink.com. I have to admit their prices are high and we had to order a minimum of 100 so we went way over budget on these, but my FI got so sick of me looking all over the internet for a good price and changing my mind that he said just order the ones you like. I really just liked their website because their design lab was the easiest to use. I will try to post a pic of the mug if I can. Discountmugs.com definitelt had better prices but I think they had high minimum orders too.

Oh and don't worry about asking a lot of questions. We all do it. That's why we're on here.

If you dont mind me asking...how much was it for 100 cups? is that your design thats in the picture? its exactly what i am looking for!!!!

Just didn't want to have all that cash on us.
We do accept credit cards in addition to travelers'checks and cash..
That's great to know. I was worried about that too!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
