I guess maybe i am worrying too much.. i know that u are suppose to be carefree but Im not! :) i am addicted to the style channel, and am constantly watching all of the wedding shows to get ideas.. I want soo much that i know i cant have..

(those are my colors) i got the mini flip flop playing cards from oriental trading, packets of tylenol, candles in the tin cans and i will probably throw some candy in there..(midnight snack) i really wanted to get some off wipes for the insects.. any ideas where i might be able to get them wholesale? i hear the mosquitos are big out there..

When I started planning my DW, I thought it would be easy too! I guess it can be, but most of us here on the forum are a little nutso about things, so we're making it harder on ourselves...lol!
I wish I could do so much more than I am, but I also have to think about the expense and also about how to transport everything down there.
Your OOT bags sound great! My colors are pink and green too:)
I haven't found any place to get the insect wipes cheaply yet, I've been looking as well.

I'm really no good at making logos, Heidi helped me with mine!

No, you're not crazy at all, I'm sure you could bring down linens and ask Chandlyn if they have other glasses. I'm bringing pink and green picture frames for my table numbers and pink and green tealights for the table (bought all of this at Ikea...very inexpensive!). I am pretty sure that the Plantation has all white linens, so I'm not too concerned about colors clashing there.

Another pink & green wedding here!!! cheer2.gif

We bought frames at IKEA and are making these http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...terpeice.html; and we also bought pink and green candles from IKEA.

Mammee Bay linens are all white...there's a great picture SOMEWHERE of the setup, but I have no idea where I saw it! I'll keep my eyes open. Also, the set up for reception dinner @ Mammee Bay is one LLOOOONNNNNGGGGG table. I asked Chandlyn if we can separate it into smaller tables, she said it would depend on how full the resort is when we're there, so that's a 'play it by ear' call.

Oh, and I can help with logo if you need it - just PM me names, colors, dates, anything you want (palm tree/starfish/etc) and if you have a preferred shape (circle/square/triangle/etc).

They were (good memory!), but when my BMs picked out pink dresses that they loved, I changed my colors to match:)

I've been meaning to ask you....would you mind redoing my logo if I sent you some ideas via email?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
