I have a couple pictures that Chadlyn sent me, but I did not find it very helpful. I'm sure they could work with whatever ideas you make have. I don't know what types of cake of frosting they have wither. I still think I am going to get my cake from an outside vendor. Here is what she sent...

This cake is $250.

Your pictures are so nice. Can you send me or post pictures of the reception. I would like to get a general ideal of what the color scheme is. I need to make a decision about buying extra decorations. I saw your wedding pictures on the gazebo that's where I want to have my ceramony. Will I need to have an isle runner or rose petal.? I have so many questions. I'm sorry. I just get so excited!!!!!

Hi Brittney,

Is there a cake sampling that we could schedule with Chandlyn? the cakes that i've seen so far for most receptions at the riu were very plain looking. These look a little bit better. I wonder if they will allow us to use an outside vendor.

Hello ladies. I am planning a wedding at the RIU ClubHotel in Negril on August 9, 2008. I just got the confirmation email request to go to the site and confirm my date. It is asking me for hotel booking information. Do I actually have to have my rooms booked before I can confirm? It is asking for hotel information. I am still waiting on the travel agent to get packages together and it might be a minute.

You can use an outside vendor. That is probably what I will do. As far as a taste testing, you will have to check with Chandalyn. I have not heard of anyone doing this.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
