So needless to say I will not be going a third time! I hate bad customer service!!!!!

I really regret buying my bridesmaid dresses from there! After spending over $800 on 4 dresses the "consultant" was rude and snarky while taking my payment. The dresses have started to arrive one by one so I've had to make 4 separate trips to the store because they said they will only hold each dress for 2 weeks, so inconvenient!! The last trip, one of the consultants ran out of the store screaming my name and accused me of taking the piece of paper that I signed in order to pick up the dress. I am very displeased with their customer service!!

My experience at Davids Bridal sucked the first time. i went on a sat and the store was like a zoo. The woman couldn't help me, didn't stay focused, i had to wait more than an hr to begin...it was a nightmare. I left and went to a restaraunt and had lunch and about 3 glasses of wine.

Then I found what i thought was my dress at another store. My best friend thought it was so pricey for such a simple dress and convinced me to go back to David's to have one last look. We went back on a tues. Middle of the day. The store was empty. The service was fantastic - prob cuz they had nothing else to do. LOL. And i found a very similar dress for $1000 less than the one i was fixed on. Tip: Even though it's a retail store...never settle for full price. Ask adn you shall (probably) receive...I did.

Honestly- I tried telling my briedsmaids this because our dresses are $225. They are from Bill Levkoff and I realize they are slightly pricey for some (although I honestly feel like $200 is the standard for a dress nowadays.) The dresses came out to $225 with taxes included, they were actually $205 before taxes. Although I felt it was reasonable some of my girls complained. The party was split in half with some people saying they could care less what the dress looked like and other girls downright refusing to wear what they considered a cheaply made dress. The bridesmaids dresses are absolutely gorgeous, well made, they have similar elements to my dress, and the exact color I spent months looking for and drum roll.... I got them at the Demetrios salon @ Macy's and the customer service was AMAZING. A mother of another bride recommended them to me and I would recommend them to any bride. Since I live in NY we went to the Herald Square location but they have a few other locations in other states. I went there after having several unpleasant experiences at David's Bridal, a store in Manhattan called RK Bridals and a few other places we tried out. Sometimes you really do pay for the service. But honestly, for the peace of mind- I would rather, thats just me.

Dazey- this is gorgeous. Do you know how heavy it is? Also- how much did it cost? Is it for photos or guests to sign?
Hey EV. I'm not sure how heavy it is it cost me $150 (including shipping and it comes from Portugal) I little expensive for a "guest book" I know but we are actually using it as a guestbook/photo album/scrapbook. It's hand carved from wood from antique furniture (the hardware also comes from antique furniture) and I believe measure 9x10. We are gonna leave the first page for an 8x10 photo of us. Then scrapbook one of our invites on the next page. For the guestbook part we are bringing an instax camera for individual guest pics which will be put in the album with photo corners and people can write their well wishes/advice by their photo. The guest pages will be every 2 or 3 pages and we will put out wedding pics on the pages I bewteen when we get them printed after the wedding.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
