I love this thread! It is so awesome to see everyone's finds!

Here are some of my etsy orders!

I got my invites from Wide Eyes Design. These aren't my exact invites, but her work is awesome and she designs exactly how you want. I also was able to get postcard RSVP's which saved on paper waste! http://www.etsy.com/shop/WideEyesDesign?ref=seller_info

I ordered my garters from Something New Designs. She does the prettiest garters, especially for a more rustic, vintage wedding. They are all handmade! I got this one but with blue lace and it comes in the sweetest little box too. http://www.etsy.com/shop/somethingnewdesigns?ref=seller_info

I ordered personalized cups for Factory 21. They were so easy to work with...design for free and ship so fast. My FI has been to a few DW and says that cups are a great thing to have!  These are our actual cups designed by my FI! :)

For our welcome bags I ordered small jar candles from my favorite candle store in Colorado Springs. My parents live there and my mom has gotten me these candles for Christmas and they are AMAZING! My super hero power is a serious heightened sense of smell, which is usually not a good thing haha! So I thought it would be nice to have a candle for your room while on vacation or to bring it home for later. She allowed us to do a free personalized label as well and she had perfect tropical scents for the occasion. (mimosa, margarita, monkey farts :)

And I ordered a cake topper from garden 4 Arts which has the sweetest clay toppers I have ever seen!

She is doing it in our wedding colors (peach, green, gray). The girl will be the same but the guy will be a pterodactyl. Somehow over the last 15 years my Fi got the nickname travadactyl and he calls me babalasauras. :) So I thought it would be a sweet surprise for him.

I'm planning to order my jewelry and bridesmaid robes this coming week. I also found the sweetest nightgowns for the wedding week that I am trying to talk myself out of ordering haha! I need EA! Etsy Anonymous!!

I purchased a TON of stuff from Etsy for our wedding!  I included all the pictures and links in my wedding planning journal.  Take a look if you are interested... http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/t/85214/tkuzmas-mayan-riviera-wedding-planning-journal-february-7-2013.  Thought it would be easier for me to share this link rather than re-posting every single item I bought! cheesy.gif

I love this thread!  You ladies have some fabulous stuff! My big issues with Etsy is trying to wade through all of the offerings. Some of these items I wouldn't have thought to search for, but would potentially be great additions to my decor.  I suppose this is why Etsy started their weddings page, but the small vendors were in an uproar over the whole thing.  Any tips on navigating Etsy for wedding items?

I'm really loving Etsy lately here are some of the great finds I found at great prices.  I might need to stay away from Etsy for a while so I don't buy everything I like.  ;)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
