How did you like trashing your dress - mine weighed about a million pounds once it was wet - but I rinsed it really well and it's at my mom's house now - she said it's totally clean and doesn't smell at all (it was a bit sweaty after the wedding) - I'm totally wearing it for the AHR!

michele, those pictures on your photog's blog are GORGEOUS!! the one with the sunset is perfection!!

today is legal day!! i'm trying to not make such a big deal out of it, but it's pretty cool still! i managed to even look a little fancy at work for the occasion!

did anyone start to get ridiculous questions from frantic guests before they left? people are really worried about not having some sort of "official document" for their plane tickets, but that's how it is now. even people who have travelled like this recently are worried! i just want to turn my phone off until we all get to the airport!!

Oh and BTW - for those of you who got married already, did you feel like a celebrity all dressed up - everyone was applauding and waving and congratulating us -
Get ready for those of you who are still waiting - it's like having paparazzi with all of the cameras snapping away!

Haven't had a chance to look through everyone's pics yet, but I'm working on it... I bet they're all gorgeous!

 

Just got my pro pics yesterday and I'm still going through them... so when I'm done looking at all of them I'll post!

 

Tracy - I' m sorry that your special day didn't go exactly as planned, but I'm sure it all worked out for the best. When are you coming backhuh.gif It seems like you've been gone forever girl!

 

Yes, we felt like a celebrity the whole time that we were there too... everywhere we went that week people would stop us and say, "hey I saw you're wedding, it was so beautiful!" I thought it was pretty cool. We were famous for a week, haha!

The prof pics will be up tomorrow, once it is I`ll send the password and all.

I wish I had all the time in the world to catch up and look at all your beautiful pics. But I will spend a day or 2 when I get back to catch up and write reviews and just TALK!! lol

 

I come back Saturday the 24th.. we`re here for 2 weeks. It does seem like we `haven`t been home in a while lol. Miss my kitties!!!!!!! but our room is to die for!!

 

Michele, it felt exactly like that, like we were star`s,everyone taking pics, even strangers!!!! Great feeling, but happy it`s over with!! I am not sure if I can do anymore pics!! ah well I can`t anyhoo since I lost my camera lol!!

 

I got some of your friends request. I am soooo happy we`ll always stay in contact!!

 

After raining all moring i think the sun is coming out, better go get some before it goes away again... been very hot down here, but not a lot of sun. lots of rain but last for 20 mins then it`s clear and hot again!

 

I`m so sooo sorry guys I can`t go through the pics right now, but all I tell Mike is how excited I am to get back to you girls!!!

Sorry, it took me a bit to figure it out too...
1) type in JMCGANN in the box that pops up and select go
2) select 'start proofing' in the next pop up
3) select 'ok' in the next pop up
4) click on on the sets in the boxes on the top left. some of the pics may take a while to load, or maybe my comp is just old, but they will appear below and you can scroll over to change pics.

let me know if it works!

Jenna! Your pictures are beautiful! We saw the set up for your reception when we arrived on the 3rd. I was wondering if it was for you guys. Totally stunning!

 

I will post my pro pics as soon as I get them. We brought our photog with us and I know she has a few other weddings to process before ours. I am so impatient though!

 

Congratulations to all the April brides (pre or post wedding!)!! I can't believe I've been married for almost 3 weeks already ~ It just flew by!

I'm just trying to get caught up with this thread- it's getting pretty cool in here with all of these wedding pictures. It's making me so excited!

 

Tracy- your pictures are gorgeous! I can't wait to see some more. You looked amazing in your dress!

 

Suzy- sorry to hear about your arm but I'm so glad your little guy is okay. You must have pretty good reflexes- sounds like it was a close shave. Don't worry about it too much- it probably won't show up in pics and you can always photoshop it out if you need to.

 

Congrats on your legal day, Erin! Good luck! I'm on my way to check out your planning thread right now.

 

ETA- Jenna, congrats on your beautiful pictures. Your wedding looks like it was just incredible, thanks for sharing your pictures with us.

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
