It's awesome that you're all getting limos to the airport or to your resort. FI and I live less than a ten minute drive from the airport here so the only reason it would really be worth it for us would be if we had all of our friends that are leaving with us that day to take it as well - and that's not a half bad idea either! A few of them are probably leaving their cars up near our place as it is to save on cab fair once they get back ($25 including tip and airport exit fees!).

We also had our transfer included from the airport to the resort in MX and figured that since there is such a good size group of us together anyways, the bus ride would just be more entertaining than going by ourselves!

great job this weekend erin!! Wow! Your flowers and bouts look GREAT and I hope that mine come out as nice!

And I really like both your rings too! My FI got a tungsten one that is mostly black as well and he was SO happy that it's not a "typical" looking band.

I have half of my OOT bags done now (yep, I packed the contents in ziplock bags so that we can pack the actual bags nice and flat and just fill them once we get down there!) and then I also finished my favours as well. Haha they're in ziplocks too because it's easier to pack everything that way and assemble quickly at the resort. If my girls help me out it should only take about ten minutes! I'm trying to leave as little as possible for once we're down there because I don't want to take away anyone's time in the sun - including my own!!

The only two real items of my DIY are my little gifts for the mom's and gramma's (hankie boxes that I'm making) plus my flowers of course which are being delivered TODAY! YAY! I'll be putting FI to work tonight cutting out the little name tags I made to put on everyone's OOT bags as well so hopefully that should do it!

I've realized that I'm horrible at getting my pictures posted but I'll try this week now that things are all coming together!

Oh- you just reminded me that I need to pick up a tonne of ziplock bags so that I can start packing this weekend (early I know, but we leave here in two weeks so I need to pack soon). That's a great idea about ziplocking the favours. I think I'll do that too, my little albums should just fit in a smaller bag and that way I won't be worried about something spilling on them or the ribbon catching on stuff.

I agree about not leaving stuff for when I'm down there. Once I get to the resort I want to relax, not spend time indoors fiddling with my favours and programs and things. This weekend is my big wedding weekend, and then all I'll need to do will be put candy in and ribbon around our mugs.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
